Latest Game of Thrones episode broke all-time piracy records!

Game of Thrones has always been on the top of the list of most pirated shows and it shows no signs of stopping. Recently we had seen how the Season 5 premiere had broken all records or how it has entered the Guinness book of records. According to the latest news by Variety, the latest episode, "Kill The Boy" took it to the next level. It has been downloaded 2.2 million times in less than 12 hours since it aired. Here's what Variety had to say about it :

The first pirated copies of episode five of the current season of HBO’s popular fantasy epic showed up on file-sharing sites shortly after its initial U.S. broadcast 9-10 p.m. ET Sunday, according to piracy-tracking firm Excipio. The 2.2 million individual Internet addresses tracked by the firm were recorded as of 10 a.m. ET Monday.

According to the latest stats, the episode was downloaded 3.22 million times in first 24 hours with US, UK, Brazil, Australia and France being the top 5 countries for piracy of the episode. Source: Variety
