Game of Thrones season 5 was shocking for many reasons. Fans were angry seeing what happened with Sansa after her wedding and also how Stannis shockingly allowed Melisandre to burn his daughter. Fans are really pissed with some of these incidents and they sure are making their feelings known. Dutch actress Carice van Houten who plays the role of Melisandre has received lot of death threats from Game of Thrones fans after the recent season.

Fans are really angry after watching how she burned Shireen as a sacrifice to the Lord of Light. She talked about this during the London Film and Comic Con:

“I’ve never had so many death wishes in my life. It was so interesting to experience that. I mean, I knew it was coming — I thought, I’m not gonna get any more sympathy after this!”

We know how much the fans love the characters in Game of Thrones, but giving death threat to an actor for killing some imaginary character just takes things to the next level.
