Shooting and casting for Game of Thrones Season 6 is in progress and we have come to know that veteran actor Max von Sydow has been re-cast as the Three-Eyed Raven in the latest season. Entertainment Weekly has reported that Max von Sydow has joined the cast as the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven. Till now we have seen the Three-Eyed Raven for a very small duration in season 4.


Max von Sydow has been a part of many big movies like Minority Report, Shutter Island, Exorcist etc and also the upcoming Star Wars movie. Signing a well-known actor for the role indicates that the Three-Eyed Raven is going to play a significant role in the next season. We last saw Bran Stark and the Three-Eyed Raven in season 4.

At that time, their storyline had already reached the end of the story in the books. So in season 6 we will be seeing what happens beyond the books. So at the moment we have no idea how the story is going to progress but it sure is going to be exciting.
