Game of Thrones season 6 is easily the most highly anticipated series of 2016 and fans have no clue what is going to happen as the series has already moved past the books for some of the characters. Jeremy Podeswa who directed the Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken episode from season 5 is going to direct the first 2 episodes of the new season and he gave hints about what is going to happen when the season starts next year. Podeswa spoke with Yahoo TV about the controversial episode from season 5 and also about season 6.

“Expectations are always very high at the beginning of the season, and checking in with all of the characters is a daunting prospect. But what’s great about this season is that there’s very little expository stuff. It starts off with a bang and you’re right into the excitement of the story. There's an enormous fan curiosity of where we're going to go, and that makes me equally nervous and excited. There have been so many diversions from the original story in the last couple of seasons that I think the audience is ready to go completely off-book. I think everyone's going to be really happy. I don't think fans are going to be disappointed.”

Podeswa however did not reveal anything about Jon Snow's fate. Now that we know season 6 is going to start with a bang, it has got us even more excited.
