In the past we have come across actors from the Harry Potter movies in Game of Thrones and now we have another addition. Game of Thrones has cast English actor Freddie Stroma who played the role of Cormac McLaggen in the Harry Potter movie series. Stroma is also known for his role in the Lifetime series, UnREAL.

Entertainment Weekly has reported that Game of Thrones producers have cast Freddie Stroma as Samwell Tarley's brother Dickon Tarly in Game of Thrones season 6.

 At the end of season 5, Samwell left the wall for Oldtown alongwith Gilly. Samwell's family lives near Oldtown and we will get to meet his brother Dickon in the next season. Dickon is Samwell's younger brother and there is not much that we know about him. The casting call for his role will give us some idea about him.

Brother, in his early to mid-20’s . Athletic, a good hunter, an excellent swordsman, manly, not particularly bright but the favourite child of the father.

Earlier Game of Thrones signed Pilou Asbæk to play the role of Euron Greyjoy and they have also cast veteran actor Max von Sydow as the Three-Eyed Raven.
