Game of Thrones star Kit Harington recently dropped a huge spoiler during an interview with the Belgian magazine Humo. We had posted about his recent sighting in Belfast with Iwan Rheon and this just confirms that he has been shooting for the 6th season . There were reports that Kit was filming an important battle scene for the 9th episode of season 6.



There was no confirmation about it but the interview is enough to prove that Jon Snow is alive and will be a part of the show for the seasons to come. A redditor named the_narc_died posted the following translation of Kit's interview on reddit.

Kit: I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a double-egded sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime–

Interviewer: How many more seasons would that be?

Kit: Nice try (laughs). I can’t talk about that. Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer onThrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects (laughs).

The 28 year old actor is reportedly filming the 6th season of the show and if we go according to what he said about his contract, by the time he is in his 30's, the show will be in it's 8th season, which is pretty exciting.
