Olly from 'Game of Thrones' enjoyed filming the season finale Jon Snow scene

Brenock O'Connor who plays Olly in Game of Thrones is one of the most hated actors in the series these days because of what he did to Jon Snow during the season finale. Within few scenes he went from a normal boy in the series to a character whom people started hating more than even Ramsay Bolton!

Now that says something about the intensity of the season finale. Recently Brenock spoke with the Express about his role and people's reaction after watching the Jon Snow scene and he seemed to be happy about all the reactions that he received and he admitted that the scene was "great fun to film".

I just enjoy the fact that I had that much of an impact. It’s very rare for my character to get noticed really, so I was quite happy with the reaction that I got. When you do something bad, you want a bad reaction for it. We were still all very jokey but we realised that there was a job to be done and it needed to be good. But I think Kit was happy with it in the end. It was great fun to film and it was just a shocker of a storyline really, I was not expecting that.

Initially he was receiving lot of hate messages but that has died down now.

At the beginning I was getting quite a bit of hate. It was quite strange from no one really noticing my character to people sending hateful messages over Twitter and stuff but it’s sort of died down now.

Brenock said that he was kept in the dark about the scene and people kept on giving him hints about the scene and joked about it.

Everyone like that: ‘oh, you don’t like wildlings, do you?’ Then I was told by one of the stuntmen that I stabbed someone in episode 10 and I wasn’t sure who it was and I was thinking: ‘do I go on a mad killing spree on the wildlings or something like that?’
